I get it. Not many people relish the idea of a dental visit. For 25 years, I’ve made it my mission to change those perceptions by providing a comfortable and caring atmosphere for patients. Dental visits don’t need to be stressful. Our entire practice, from the oasis- like environment to the friendly, top-notched staff, is designed to keep you smiling your best smile.

From the moment you walk through the front door, you’ll become part of our family. We don’t take a cookie-cutter approach because every person has a different comfort level. We take the time to get to know our patients, ask questions and listen to your concerns. The result is a customized approach that meets your needs in an affordable manner.

You and your smile are in good hands. I earned my degree from LLU in 1992 and stay current on the latest procedures and technologies through rigorous continuing education programs. Dr. Delwyn Dick DDS

I earned my dental degree from Loma Linda University in 1994. I put myself through school by commercial fishing and captaining boats in the Summers. I love this area and have been practicing in the Pacific Northwest ever since I graduated. In 2018 the opportunity arose to join Dr. Delwyn Dick’s office. Delwyn and I have been friends since dental school and had talked for years about working together. I was very excited when the timing finally worked out.

I stay current on procedures and technologies through rigorous continuing education and my patients appreciate my gentle, caring chair side manner. My goal is to always put my patients needs first and to make their dental experience as relaxing as possible.

When I’m not practicing dentistry, I enjoy traveling, snowboarding, hiking, sailing and spending time outdoors with my wife Jill.

I cannot tell you how excited I am to be back in the Inland Northwest! There is truly no place like home. Having graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry, I have come to appreciate Coeur d’Alene and all it has to offer. As the newest dentist at Kootenai Dental Group, I feel so privileged to be backed by an outstanding team with nothing but support and lots of laughter. Our team aura reassures patients that they are in good hands and our constant optimism shines through in our outcomes.

What attracted me to Kootenai Dental Group was the approach to dentistry that is focused on patient comfort. Taking a little bit of extra time to make sure that our patients are at ease allows me to do my job without worry. I thoroughly enjoy helping patients know that a dental visit does not need to be anxiety-stricken or painful. Reversing that psychology can take time, but I am up for that challenge!

Having knocked out my front tooth with a golf putter when I was 8 years old, I find that I can relate to patients who find imperfections in their smile. I have an eye for esthetics- making cosmetic dentistry so fun and rewarding. A self-proclaimed perfectionist, I am eager to help you achieve the results that you desire.
